Hello! I, like much of my generation, grew up with anime and manga. It’s hard to explain, but the fact is that the worlds I grew up with possess a magic and emotion that couldn’t be found in other stories, which is why they captivated so many people. The values and messages they contained inspired me to improve as a person, and inevitably, I started creating my own worlds. These characters accompanied me for years and reminded me of what was “truly important” and how I wanted to live my life. Like any artist, I hope that someday I can inspire others in the same way that these stories and characters, whether mine or not, did for me.

This is not a unique or different reason; many people share this story, but that’s what makes it so special. I know I’m not alone, and that thousands of people share this feeling and love for what I enjoy, and that’s a driving force powerful enough to keep pushing every day to achieve this dream.

Stories and drawing have an incredible power that gives meaning to the lives of so many people, whether they are artists or not. I want to be part of this. I want the meaning of my life to be to give meaning to others, even if only for a specific moment, even if it’s just a drop in the ocean of influences that shape a human being. It’s beautiful to know that, however small, what one creates remains in the hearts of people and becomes part of them.

I truly believe this is the ultimate reason for every mangaka and artist.

Why Otabushi?
I haven’t found my place in the industry yet, and I still don’t have enough resources to promote my work. During my search for platforms dedicated to manga, I came across Otabushi and decided to give it a try. They liked my work, believe in it, and, moreover, showed me that there is a real passion for manga and a genuine interest in supporting its artists behind this project. I truly believe that, with enough support, something great can be achieved.
